If I were William Shatner, I’d rather go to space for real with Spacex. At least they do orbits. Blue origin just go up then come back down.

    Publicity stunt.
50 miles/80 km up isn’t really “space”, and everybody knows it.

Blue origin is the laughing stock of the space industry right now And I’m one of them laughing

  2. The oldest man ever to go into space in a rocket shaped like a willy, good luck Captain Kirk

  3. The mission starts with Kirks order ‘ENGAGE’!. It’s amazing, the inspiration a silly little science fiction tv show and it’s characters have had!…he deserves that ride.

Taking a 90yr old man to space and returning him safely…SAFETY DEMONSTRATED. Give Captain Kirk his wings.

  4. Next week Patrick Stewart goes in orbit on Elon’s falcon 9.

So Kirk will be riding Jeff Bezos’ phallus to space. I thought that would be Sulu’s choice.

  5. They had darn well find someone on the blue origin team with the last name of Scott so they can be on the propulsion, engine desk. And they better have that same person wear Scotty’s red uniform shirt so Shatner can say ” Give me all the power you can Scotty” just before ignition. “Of course he could reply “I’m giving it all I can captain”, then zero.. ignition.

I’m a little concerned for him. He is 90. I feel like he’s some sort of grandfatherly figure, he’s been with us for so long. I know they clear these space voyagers medically, just the same. I think the dearly departed members of Star Trek are looking down smiling at Bill. Godspeed Captain Kirk

They should rename this rocket. ” Enterprise”
Would love to see him in his Captain Kirk outfit. This should be a Star Trek event.
