La Academia del Plata, asociada al Centro de Estudios Cruz del Sur, la Corporación de Abogados Católicos y Ars Iuris, ha organizado un ciclo formativo sobre Literatura, Arte y Cultura, que se propone introducir en el conocimiento de los valores del espíritu y las virtudes a través del contenido de obras clásicas o muy afamadas de la literatura y el arte universales.
La segunda clase será el próximo jueves, 23 de septiembre, a las 19.00 horas. Estará a cargo del Dr. Jorge Ferro quien se ocupará de “Cartas del diablo a su sobrino en el marco de la obra de C. S. Lewis”.
El expositor es Doctor en Letras por la UCA, Profesor titular de Letras en dicha Universidad y en la Universidad de Morón, investigador del CONICET, autor de libros como “Aproximación a C.S. Lewis”, “Leyendo a Tolkien” y otros sobre G.K. Chesterton y Leopoldo Marechal. Es considerado uno de los mejores traductores literarios del inglés en la Argentina.
