We can’t call Invasion or war as it is not fair game. It is sure ‘demilitarised strategy ‘ Russia for Ukraine. The Russia leader has many times stated this demilitarised action from Russia toward Ukraine to stabilise security and peaceful in those regions and warning for US and NATO to not interfere in Russia and Ukraine matters and in the future.
While I don’t agree with using the military, I think Ukrainian govt owed some money to Russia and refused to pay it back. After years of the Ukraine govt avoiding Russia, Putin got pissed off and want his money back. Especially the money Russia had to come up with to satisfy a joint debt with Ukraine. Keep in mind, Putin is attacking the military and not the people. I don’t think we have the whole story because of language barriers
When I sit on a computer in the Deep South when I go there, I understand issues better. The rebels in Donbass have been rebels there for 8 years, which likely helped delay the NATO membership process, among other reasons for the delay. So, this rebellion helped delay the NATO membership by 8 years, among other reasons. The moment Putin suggested that he will recognize Donbass as a separate republic on Monday, there may have been alarm bells ringing and calls to Vlad from the military. Next, likely, a few generals called him to say this carving out of a new republic out of Ukraine will qualify Ukraine to become a member of NATO – OLAN group, almost within a few months. The end of the civil war would have helped the membership process, as there is a article in NATO rules and regulations which sez that a new member should not be embroiled in an on-going civil war, among other reasons. Having said that, there is an exception to every rule, and reules can be circumvented, even without loss of two provinces by Ukraine.. Military generals may have told Vlad he will likely win a small battle (carve out a new Donbass Republic as demanded by local rebels there) and lose the greater war ( Not a pitched battle:: Just Ukraine qualifying to become a member of NATO – OLAN group, in a very short time after carving out Donbass republic).
I certainly am no Biden Booster I’m in total opposition except on this We have to stand united in opposing tyranny. Biden and Trump should form a public united front. There is now no Left, no Right, no Libertarian —there is just America.
The worse case scenario is that Europe will kick out US and substitute it with Russia. US leadership in world stage is gone with weak and feeble leadership. Euro joining Russia is a win-win situation both economically and security.
Cordialmente CLAUDIO KUSSMAN
Too little too late. Hopefully the folks in Ukraine stay safe and this ends quickly for them. Biden/Harris created the script but you won’t hear them taking credit.
Russia’s Putin knew when Biden was elected this was his opportunity. Putin would be as stupid as Biden if he did not take this opportunity. Biden’s sanctions are far too little and far too late. Biden needs to turn back on our resources. If not, we need answers now. The democrats need to show that they are on the side of the American people!!!
It’s amazing to see Biden do such a bad job. It’s like watching an old man trying to chew on peanuts without teeth. It isn’t working, but he just keeps going.
I just don’t get how we continue to think that clean energy is a benefit for us at this time in history. Truly, our energy independence and being strong with energy and defense imposes more of our will on international relations
The mistake has been years in the making with several administrations but yes the disaster of Afghanistan was the nail in the coffin that gave ideas to some other countries like Russia and possibly China too with Taiwan.
And when your Mom yells at you , do you take it as a deterrent, Or would Hitting you with the frying Pan work 😐 I all ways Liked the Frying Pan method wile the the Teen is wandering if his Head still on you can kick his Feet out from under him and Let him Know , that the world as he knows it can end quickly !
This is the problem with not teaching history from a neutral perspective. You have blind spots and just repeat the same mistakes. This is an exact parallel to how ww2 started
Even Obama said “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f..k things up.” Why do you think he didn’t throw his support behind him, until he was the last Democrat in the running? He knows this guy is not the sharpest to in the shed.
Many people lay the blame for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine squarely at the feet of Vladimir Putin, but some say NATO and Western powers are also responsible. I insist the West provoked the former Soviet superpower by encroaching eastward into its sphere of influence and could have done more to avert the conflict.

At some point, you have to ask yourself, how stupid can the Biden White House be? ♂️

Its not a mistake if it is done on purpose. Corruption from the highest level.

Maybe Biden could sent Hunter over to negotiate. LOL. Let us not forget Biden is helping Iran develop nuclear weapons.
I have no doubt that Biden can find a way to make this situation worse.

I don’t have faith in this Administration to do anything for this problem it’s a sad State of the Union
I just don’t get how we continue to think that clean energy is a benefit for us at this time in history. Truly, our energy independence and being strong with energy and defense imposes more of our will on international relations
Catastrophic government. Period.
He doesn’t care about SANCTIONS,because he’s not retreating.
Sanctions = passive aggressive response by a leader who is a wimpy doormat
The mistake has been years in the making with several administrations but yes the disaster of Afghanistan was the nail in the coffin that gave ideas to some other countries like Russia and possibly China too with Taiwan.
BIDEN IS ACTING like my mom yelling at me if I was out of line, what we need is Trump and his resolve to correct a situation. Like my dad did.
Or our anti-bullying campaign in schools now that prevents kids from learning mouthing off to the wrong person can result in a broken nose?
This is the problem with not teaching history from a neutral perspective. You have blind spots and just repeat the same mistakes. This is an exact parallel to how ww2 started
Exactly my thoughts. WW2 started just like this. They built milltary power for over ten years straight and NO ONE said anything about it.
Finally someone said the truth and who is to blame. This president and his VP should be shown the door
Even Obama said “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f..k things up.” Why do you think he didn’t throw his support behind him, until he was the last Democrat in the running? He knows this guy is not the sharpest to in the shed.
Sometimes I wonder if all these events are planned and the world is just a stage …
This has been decades in the making. It was only a matter of time.
Biden’s ability to mess things up cannot be underestimated.
What did we expect from a Mail Order President?
