I think the religion itself was probably meant to peaceful, but everything was written down without thinking of the consequences, like, it getting misunderstood or taken wrong. “Fight all non believers”, was probably meant as: “non believers don’t want peace and are harmful for humanity” and although the message seems fine at first, formulating it like this doesn’t make it sound right, can put others in danger and causes contradictions itself. Another thing that can cause problems is this: Wish others what you wish for yourself. Again it had a good thought behind it, but not everyone wants the same. E.g. there’s a masochist, should they wish for everyone to get also happy by harm? It’s like they say: Good idea but bad implementation. So, although the Idea was made woth a good thought, things were written down wayvy to careless. I say this from a view from the sidelines, I am neither atheist nor believe in any higher power that decides on my life. So I’m quite in the middle, and noticed this a lot in the main religions, there are always things that makes other people cause harm to each other, because things were put in a way that can be clearly misunderstood. Sometimes, lines have to be read with the thought of the author in the back of mind: “Why do they write this? What do they want for me?” taking everything too serious is just bad. If somebody says harmful thing to someone already hurt, and worsens the pain, you can call it: They only add salt to the wound. But that doesn’t mean they literally took salt and added it into a open wound.
As a child in a muslim family, I always wanted to convince my family of my own choice..but I know I would get critics of how ‘bad’ I am for just choosing my own freedom 🙁
I know many Muslims in real life, most of them are nice people but for most, religion comes first even if it means violence. If a mullah or religious preacher asks to “unalive” someone for any disrespect or belonging to other religion, you’d be surprised to see how quickly they can turn against you even if you were friends with them. This is exactly I can’t get behind a lot of crisis in Islamic nations. I feel bad for many of those civilians but under the right circumstances, they wouldn’t hesitate to harm or harass me for not belonging to their religion, the funny thing is that in some places it’s even religiously permitted to do so. At the end of the day, Islam is everything for them, so it’s best that others keep that in mind when engaging with Muslims.
The fact is that religion’s ability to neatly differentiate between “believer” and unbeliever”, and between “right” and “wrong”, makes it a powerful ideology. In the hands of demagogues, religious discourses – used selectively and manipulated to achieve a set of desired ends – are very powerful.

Bueno, yo combato esas horribles ideas.

The only problem with the Islamic fundamentalism is the fundamental of Islam.
Thank you Jesus. When I found Jesus in my heart, I left Islam ️
Freedom is slavery
Ignorance is strength
Islam is peaceful
