People today will never achieve this feat….. 77 years of marriage? Many marriages don’t even last longer than 77 days lol… 🙂🙂

Their marriage lasted longer than the average life span of an average human and at a time where most relationships and marriages can’t even last 10 years

What an endearing couple. Condolences to all family, esp. Pres. Carter who loved and admired Rosalyn so much as his equal…the way it should be. They were so lucky to have found one another. Sad that her death is the reason I’ve revisited all the accomplishments of this amazing woman via all the media presentations about her, but I’m SO GLAD for the reminders of her. She was an inspiration to me in my younger years. She will go down in history as one of the most hard working 1st Ladies…walking the talk. Only she and Eleanor Roosevelt going before Congress to advocate causes…
RIP, sweet Rosalyn Carter.

People judge Jimmy Carter for the 4 years in the Whitehouse. But his accomplishments as a man are reflected in a century of years of his life.

Habitat for Humanity is just one of the wonderful things he helped to birth, and move forward. He was a working former President – out and about, no rocking on the porch for HIM. When he is called Home it will be the end of a life well-lived, serving others. We can learn much from this amazing gentleman.

Regardless of politics, he lived a respectable life after his time in office. I wish him as much peace and comfort in this life

Jimmy Carter: perhaps the most underrated president of recent times, who accomplished a great deal during his single term. Forced to “retire” at age 56, he has made good use of his talents on behalf of those less fortunate; and enjoyed hobbies such as hiking, fishing, and woodworking. And let Republicans, Evangelicals, or other self-righteous windbags lecture the Carters on family values or the sanctity of marriage. We should all be as fortunate.

He’s a great man and I hope he has more years to come. He’s probably one of the last honest presidents and had so much integrity and kindness in him and we’re so far away from that today. I know he was led by a different code than most others. He did everything he could to live like God wanted him to and may God continue to bless these wonderful two people. Thanks President Carter for giving us all an example to live like.
