 Pasadas las 7 AM del día 6 de marzo de 1975, PAULINO JOAQUIN FERNÁNDEZ, Cabo de la Policía Federal Argentina, luego de despedirse con un beso de su esposa JULIA  y  su hija MARIEL de 7 años de edad, salió de su casa ubicada en 9 de julio 1199 del barrio Villa Alem, en la Provincia de Tucumán, con destino a su trabajo. Segundos después yacía sin vida en la vereda con varios disparos de grueso calibre en el rostro y cabeza. Luego miembros de la organización terrorista Montoneros se adjudicaron el hecho. Habían transcurrido 28 días desde que en esa provincia se había iniciado el “Operativo independencia”, dispuesto por el gobierno democrático de la época. Así cambió la vida y comenzó el horror para esa joven madre, y esa niña que, a través del detonar de un arma y el cuerpo ensangrentado de su padre supo de golpe que era la muerte. Pasaron 5 décadas y JULIA  se reunió en el mas allá con PAULINO.  Mientras MARIEL FERNANDEZ SINGUENZA permanece soltera y  día a día continua su lucha contra los fantasmas que quebrantaron su niñez en un pasado que jamás debió existir.

    Este gobierno dijo que investigaria la indemnizaciones que se pagaron a los terroristas y no pasó nada. Pareciera que les tienen miedo.
