La disputa entre Mickey Rourke y Robert De Niro se remonta a la película de 1987 “Corazón de Ángel”.

Mickey afirma que De Niro se negó a hablar con él en el set y fuera de él: la vida real de Travis Bickle, “¿Me estás hablando a mí?”.

“Cada vez que lo miraba a la cara, miraba a través de ese imbécil”.

Mickey afirma que De Niro le impidió aparecer en “El Irlandés”. Scorsese quería reunirse con él para un papel. De Niro dijo “NO”.

La semana pasada, Mickey Rourke criticó duramente a su némesis, llamándolo “Punk Imbécil” y “Gran Llorón”.

“Si nuestros caminos se cruzan, te juro por Dios por mi abuela, mi hermano y todos los perros, que te voy a avergonzar muchísimo”.

De Niro, por su parte, supuestamente dijo: “Mickey Rourke es un mentiroso, dice un montón de tonterías”.

De Niro también mantiene una disputa constante con su exesposa Grace Dinero; una telenovela que se desarrolla desde hace años en un tribunal de Manhattan.
