Texas spent billions of dollars on prisons and police. Crime did not decline. While Countries with responsible gun control laws have less violent crime and gun violence.
The war on drugs is lost.

I live in CA where there are similar issues. Once, I got attacked, and was hospitalized, because of the actions of some racially motivated idiot that went on a short rampage that was finally stopped. Police came. The pos served half his mercifully short sentence. Later, he got rearrested on 2 separate occasions for a burglary related matter, and I knew because it was published in a local paper’s crime blotter. The only good that has happened is the pos, while on parole, returned to his home state of TX where he committed more crime, got captured, tried, and punished, and is currently incarcerated there. CA had legal obligations to inform me, and any other victim like me, about this jerk’s movement/releases in my county, and has several other programs to assist victims, but the chasm between appreciation and implementation of programs is beyond byzantine(e.g., some CA state agencies won’t accept direct payment from other CA state agencies for necessary procedures – wacky, yes?)… I could go on, but why bother…

this country is slowly losing practical common sense, and many adults are to blame for this, especially in our public school system, these weird crazy people teaching our kids to lose face of reality and plain common sense.

CLAUDIO KUSSMAN

If you read or watched Lord of The Flies, you can understand the exponential rise in crime going un abated. There is no fear of punishment, no fear of going to jail, and the young have no incentive to do anything but escalate their bold and brash criminal activities

Soft on crime will always be the left’s policy. Anyone remember the Asian Oakland mayor that wanted to be nice with criminals? She got booted but of course they voted another leftie. You get what you voted on.

Criminals Are Given More Rights Than People. Bad People are being allowed to commit any and all crimes against regular people who just want to sleep work exercise study and live. We need to hold the politicians accountable before we don’t have a country left, handling them will handle most of the local crime, when the rule of law is established again..

This is the LAST THING we need is a guy like this as DA. He is TOO SOFT. Are you kidding me? This will embolden the criminals to see how much they can “get away with”.

The big problem is politicians. They’re obviously more interested in disarming and controlling the victims of the crime than stopping it
