Many retailers are closing because 1. They failed to keep up with the times and improve their product/service & merchandising. 2. They don’t have the appropriate price/quality point. 3. They have no “connection” or “point of view” with the customer. They have no real clue about who their customer is or what they want. Those that succeed eg Primark, Apple, Zara, Poundland do so because they understand the customer.
