Honestamente, no se me ocurre mejor candidato que Ernesto “Che” Guevara para denominar a una figura histórica como sobrevalorada. Porque ¿qué logró realmente? Su mayor logro fue ser súper fotogénico. Era un rebelde con causa y bastante apuesto, que sabía cómo aprovechar sus ángulos. Se unió a la revolución de Fidel Castro, donde Castro y Cienfuegos hicieron todo el trabajo pesado, y esa revolución fue un éxito. Aparte de esto, ¿cuál es su legado?
Era racista, homofóbico y misógino.
Fracasó en el Banco Central de Cuba y fracasó en sus incursiones bélicas, sobre todo en África.
Guevara también abrazó puntos de vista racistas. En su diario se refirió a los negros como “esos magníficos ejemplos de la raza africana que han mantenido su pureza racial gracias a su falta de afinidad con el baño”. También pensaba que los europeos blancos eran superiores a los afrodescendientes y describió a los mexicanos como “un grupo de indios analfabetos”.
En el artículo “Mi primo, El Che”, Alberto Benegas Lynch Jr. describe cómo al Che Guevara le gustaba torturar animales, un rasgo común a los asesinos en serie. Su historial de asesinatos y torturas es extenso. Los investigadores han documentado 216 víctimas del Che Guevara en Cuba entre 1957 y 1959. La sospecha era todo lo que se necesitaba para acabar con una vida. No había necesidad de juicio porque dijo que la Revolución no podía detenerse “a realizar muchas investigaciones; tiene la obligación de triunfar”.

Never forget what kind of monster he was. He talked of freedom, but established a brutal totalitarian state. He lives in the nightmares of those who actually knew him.

This mission was doomed for failure and he was warned over and over again. When you can see drunkard leaders, magic believing troops and so much more you know it’s not going to happen. It’s happened a million times even to this day. It took years as it sometimes does. A foolish man and nothing more than that!!! Even Castro realized it and may have known all along.

En un chat, en la que reina laxa opinión, recuerdo que un tío de 40 años se tatuó a los 16 una gran figura del “Che” en un brazo, para que se la viera bien todo el mundo.
Al cabo de pocos años se volvió “reaccionario” maldijo y lamentó tan desafortunada acción de juventud. Ahora tenía que vivir eternamente con la figura de alguien repugnante grabada a fuego en su brazo.

Fidel Castro wasn’t even fully on board with him. There was a lot of naivety on Che’s part to think all these people would be happy to see him.
This mission was doomed for failure and he was warned over and over again. When you can see drunkard leaders, magic believing troops and so much more you know it’s not going to happen. There doesn’t seemed to have been “ANY” reconnaissance whatsoever and the most basic observations would have made all the difference. For all of Che Guevara’s romantic and legendary prowess it appears that the only success that he had was in Cuba and that success was due to Castro. I’ve read about him and in my opinion he was risking his life because he wanted to be like Castro. There was NOTHING special about what happened in Cuba as far as the overthrow of Batista. It’s happened a million times even to this day. It took years as it sometimes does. A foolish man and nothing more than that!!! Even Castro realized it and may have known all along.
Ernesto Che Guevara tenía la costumbre de hablar mal de la Unión Soviética en congresos de países en desarrollo. Los soviéticos se cansaron de esto y suspendieron su relación con Cuba. A Fidel Castro le dijeron que tenía que frenar a Guevara y obligarlo a dejar de atacar a la Unión Soviética. Era la condición para normalizar las relaciones entre los países. Castro envió a Guevara a Bolivia para iniciar una revolución. ¡Y sorpresa sorpresa que los bolivianos lo atraparon y lo hicieron fusilar! Y la relación entre Cuba y la Unión Soviética se normalizó como si nunca hubiera habido un Guevara causando problemas. Ese fue otro fallo enorme del Che.

En un chat, en la que reina laxa opinión, recuerdo que un tío de 40 años se tatuó a los 16 una gran figura del “Che” en un brazo, para que se la viera bien todo el mundo.
Al cabo de pocos años se volvió “reaccionario” maldijo y lamentó tan desafortunada acción de juventud. Ahora tenía que vivir eternamente con la figura de alguien repugnante grabada a fuego en su brazo.
