I wanted to express my gratitude to these heroic men. I was born in Russia and immigrated to Israel. I know what it’s like to feel persecuted in your own home, I know what it’s like to feel like nobody cares… living in Israel today, I feel very safe, but I honestly thought Jews would not be persecuted in the USA, seeing that they are hated and persecuted in leftist states and nobody cares made me have nightmares about scarier times. But in America, like in America, you can always count on heroic people to step up and be the beautiful humans that they are. For that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you.

I visited Crown Heights when the Guardian Angels were making Crown Heights safe. They are truly Guardian Angels! They would walk multiple blocks with me and my kids and make sure I got where I was going. Because of them I could go out late on Shabbos and Yom Tov – when we don’t use cars – and not worry about getting back safely to where I was staying. During the weeks prior to their arrival, Jews were afraid to venture out of their homes to buy groceries.
