This looks like it will be good. Aaron always does great work when it comes to true stories.
People need to remember this is NOT “I Love Lucy”. This is about Lucille Ball, the actress and her life off camera. For those crying that you wanted Debra Messing to play the role. Why? Because she played Lucy on ONE episode on Will and Grace 20 years ago? She may have played a Lucy but she didn’t play Lucille Ball.
Besides their daughter is fine with the casting and that’s pretty much what matters in the end.

I grew up to this and finishing watching every episode of it this make me nervous so I hope she does a good job. I am excited they’re giving Lucy the recognition she deserves.

Just saw it. My expectations were exceeded by light years. Great performances all around, with JK Simmons doing an uncanny William Frawley. You are right: JK is amazing. Clever script, spot-on direction…

So excited to see this! Lucy and Desi got me through some dark times in my life, especially as a teen. Whenever I felt lonely I would turn on I Love Lucy and laugh along with the audience. So excited to see this movie ❤️

Every time I see the preview I cry because it reminds me of my mother. She got me to love Lucy and tv and acting today.

There are many things to love about Lucy, but what really blows my mind is that this White woman from the 50’s to this day is able to make this Black man laugh harder than most comedians who around today. She is literally the epitome of a timeless classic. She transcends race, age, gender, sexuality and time. The planet will forever love Lucy
