Un grupo de policías encubiertos de Detroit, haciéndose pasar por narcotraficantes, se encontró accidentalmente con otro grupo de policías encubiertos que se hacían pasar por compradores de droga.
Este incidente ocurrió en 2017. Básicamente, un par de agentes de la comisaría 12 de Detroit, de incógnito y haciéndose pasar por narcotraficantes, fueron a una casa donde se vendían drogas para realizar una operación encubierta.
Allí se encontraron con dos compradores… que resultaron ser agentes encubiertos de la comisaría 11.
A partir de ahí, llegaron más agentes con una orden de registro, y la situación escaló hasta el punto en que ambos grupos de policías se empujaban e incluso se golpeaban.
Parecía una caricatura hecha realidad. No me habría sorprendido que Bugs Bunny hubiera orquestado todo esto.
Tras el incidente, el jefe de policía de Detroit, James Craig, declaró que era “probablemente una de las cosas más vergonzosas que he visto en este departamento”.
