Más de 50 candidatos para los comicios municipales y regionales, que tendrán lugar en Chile en octubre, han sido rechazados por el Servicio Electoral (Servel) debido a las deudas en el pago de la pensión de alimentos de sus hijos, según indicó la ministra de la Mujer y Equidad de Género, Antonia Orellana.
Orellana precisó que los deudores habían tenido tiempo suficiente para resolver su situación en el escenario del proceso electoral.
Otras fuentes destacan que estas personas, a las que se ha dado el sobrenombre de ‘papitos de corazón’, podrían ascender hasta 196.
