It will never cease to amaze me how incredibly stupid trumpets are.

If automakers could actually build plants in the US and still be competitive don’t you think they would do that? Bottom line is Made in USA just doesn’t make economic sense anymore for most corporations. In a true capitalist society the free market should be able to dictate where companies move their production not the govt. While these protectionist policies sound good on the campaign trail they simply do not address the root of the problem.

So Donald , this mate of yours that builds the largest car manufacturing plants in the world …that’s his name again ? ….its just that you didn’t mention it . I see the biggest in the world is in Germany …it must be one of his I guess. Maybe you should ask him why he is not building plants in the US ? Beyond putting tariffs on imported cars you failed to mention any policy you have that would encourage your mate to build one of his huge plants in the states. Be honest Don ….your friend is in just in your imagination isn’t he ?

Tariffs cause the consumer to pay more for products. They (the other countries ) simply raise prices to account for the tariffs

trump after we caused the world market to crash on 2008, who decided to offshore everything? was it china? was it mexico? was it the top 1% and the usa gov? even if there are average americans in the usa, do they have the skill and knowledge? look at the tsmc factory, we forced tsmc to build factory in the usa, average american cant even do that. are the average americans willing to work? if you look at our history, the asians, mainly chinese built our railroads, cause most average americans were unwilling to work! what about the price, how are we going to compete with the price? where are we going to get raw material, since china controls 90% of the raw material, so china is going to get it one way or another? going back to the big question… who cause all this happen? was it china? was it the top 1% and the usa gov? the root cause of the issue is not china!

Talk about free trade, economic freedoms, but they don’t want competition, when you travel to China, the country is flooded with our brands Tesla, Buick, Cadillac, Ford, Lincoln, Jeep, the same thing happens with phones, the Chinese really love iPhones, you go to their shopping centers and most of the stores are American brand stores, the same thing happens with fast food chains, the vast majority are American brands. When you go to their supermarkets, many of the products they sell there are products made by our American food industry. Competition is necessary, so our industries will make better products. Trump is sending a negative message to the world, no one will want to invest here, all the investment is going to go to the Brics countries, we are playing with fire and we are going to burn.

Trump doesn’t understand that companies just pass the tariff costs on to the consumers.
