Instructor de vuelo, Licenciado en Ciencias de la Educación, Magister en Defensa Nacional, Docente universitario. Escritor. Investigador en historia aeronáutica y militar y Consultor externo, nos hizo llegar su último trabajo literario titulado “COMBATE DE ARROYO SAN GABRIEL”. Sus 92 páginas con didácticas explicaciones y numerosas ilustraciones, nos introducen de lleno en el “Operativo Independencia”, el cual marcó un antes y un después en la historia argentina. Como expresa el autor en el último renglón de su obra: “Ahora sí, las conclusiones finales son del lector”.

Miembro fundador del Museo de Aviación de Ejército. Se retiró del servicio activo en 1990. Licenciado en Ciencias de la Educación. Magíster en Defensa Nacional. Se ha especializado en el estudio de la Historia de Aviación y Terrorismo. Autor de libros de educación e historia en el país y en el exterior. Ha escrito alrededor de un centenar de artículos y dossiers en medios especializados nacionales y extranjeros. Miembro del Instituto de Investigaciones Histórico Aeronáuticas de Chile. Consultor nacional e internacional en temas relacionados con sus áreas de conocimiento.

The British were not the first to use irregular forces in conflicts such forces have been around and in use both in Modern times and ancent times though the British did play a leading role in what we now call Special forces something that was quickly copied by every military around the world.

A friend of mine, who ‘left the building in 1988 told me that when he was 15 years old he came home from school and his Mum gave him a good hiding. Why? you may ask… She had found a Thompson sub machine gun under his bed ! She thought he had joined the Mafia. He assured her that he was a member of the local defence force. She wasn’t happy….
