An awful lot of us believe in irrational nonsense (by nonsense I mean stuff not explainable rationally). All religions are by definition irrational, otherwise they would come under science. So where do you draw the line between acceptable nonsense (such as the major religions) and stuff condemning you as a nutcase? Does it just come down to numbers? If millions of people profess to believing something, does that make it acceptable even if not true?
