El abogado quien funcionó como empleado de Donald Trump durante varios años, está convencido de que la única manera en que el republicano de 77 años puede evitar pagar las millonarias sanciones emitidas por dos jueces en su contra es purgando una condena en prisión o convirtiéndose nuevamente en presidente.
Desde el año pasado, al magnate neoyorquino se le fincaron cuatro acusaciones legales, pero además ya venía arrastrando un añejo caso por haber agredido sexualmente a la columnista E. Jean Carroll y tras haberla difamado, el juez Lewis Kaplan dictaminó que Trump debía pagar $83.3 millones de dólares.
Posteriormente, el exmandatario de la nación recibió un segundo golpe a sus finanzas, después de que el magistrado Arthur Engoron lo sancionó con una multa de $355 millones de dólares por conspirar para alterar su patrimonio neto con el objetivo de recibir beneficios fiscales y seguros.
Michael Cohen sostiene que la última carta que le resta a Trump para evitar quedar arruinado o bien en la cárcel es, primero conquistar la candidatura republicana y, acto seguido, ganar las elecciones a celebrarse en noviembre.
“En este momento la única salida para él, tanto financiera como criminalmente, con respecto al encarcelamiento, es ganar las elecciones. “Es una cantidad asombrosa de dinero para prácticamente cualquiera. Tal vez haya un puñado de personas en el país que puedan emitir un cheque por $500 millones de dólares, pero Donald no es uno de ellos“, enfatizó.
Finalmente, el abogado neoyorquino considera que el falló en contra de su exjefe resultó justo e incluso con una sanción inferior a la contemplada.
“De hecho, pensé que la cantidad sería, y debería ser, mayor. Creo que el fallo fue justo y equitativo. Creo que el juez Engoron expone todo en esta decisión de más de 90 páginas, especialmente en la página 41, que hace referencia a mí, en el hecho de que dije la verdad”, manifestó.

Use the 14th Amendment Section 3 on Donald Jail Trump. If law truly is not systemically biased, the Trumps and their cronies will do time in prison.
I find it very contradicting when, NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW but yet, you can run for president while under investigation ( criminally charged etc.).
