Ayer jueves, ante la Oficina del Sheriff del condado de Albany (estado de Nueva York, EE.UU.), fue presentada una denuncia por delito sexual contra el exgobernador de esa entidad, Andrew Cuomo. Se le acusa de “tocar a alguien forzadamente”, lo que constituye un delito menor.
El incidente habría ocurrido el 7 de diciembre de 2020, cuando Cuomo, “intencionalmente y sin ningún propósito legítimo”, supuestamente deslizó una mano por debajo de la camisa de la víctima y sobre su seno izquierdo.
Aunque el documento no revela el nombre de la mujer, se podría tratar de Brittany Commisso, quien ya había acusado públicamente al entonces mandatario regional de manosearla en un mansión ejecutiva de Albany el año pasado.
Andrew Cuomo dimitió en agosto tras una investigación llevada a cabo por la fiscal general del estado, Letitia James, en la que se determinó que el exfuncionario había acosado sexualmente a 11 mujeres, entre las que se encontraban actuales y antiguas empleadas de esa circunscripción.

I had a friend who lived in LA for a while. She told me about apartment complex owners having to be weary of renting to Scientologists because they’re known to pull a scheme where one member moves in and behaves like a model tenant. That person then keeps their ears peeled for vacancies and will then notify the church, who will then send other members to move in, who get their foot in the door through the recommendations of the original “model tenant” and are provided glowing references by the church. The Scientologists will then methodically repeat this process one-by-one until they have a enough members in the building in order to take the property. All of these tenants will simultaneously stop paying their rent and the church will then move in with an offer to buy the building. The offer will be much lower than the value of the property, but it’s more cost-effective to simply sell it than to evict all of the Scientologists.
