The guard allowed her to take him out alone…Is the guard perhaps in on this as well? If not then the guard should of 1. picked up what she was putting down, and 2. be held responsible as well….Her clues were I am taking this inmate by myself to an appointment (guard should of known that was wrong and immediately got help regardless of who she is in the facilely, to me this signaled someone asking for help in a nonchalant way) This woman is at this point extra baggage and will be disposed of I have no doubt about that…I hope I am so very wrong but my gut feelings are telling me otherwise. I would also like to know who drove the car to the shopping center if the camera’s show no one getting in or out of the car and into another car as per the sheriff…..I will assume there was outside help then just this woman…..I am only assuming.
Word is because she was an “exemplary” employee/assistant director, that no subordinate questioned her when she escorted him alone, even though all knew it was against protocol. She’s a widow (don’t know since when), no kids, sold her house recently (don’t know if since Casey White showed up, which has only been since end of Feb), was living with her mom, as said planned to retire last Friday, etc, etc. I saw this in a movie. The guy (6’9″, 260 lbs) made this widowed woman with low self-esteem “feel wanted” again.. she was planning to retire to the beach, which the guy would have agreed with. After he gets her money (wondering if her account from house sale was emptied), she’ll likely be killed. Is hard for a 6’9″ guy to go unnoticed, so I sense he’ll turn up before long – no word that he is a survivalist type (like Eric Rudolph who was on the lam for 5 years hiding in a forest).
I’ve little sympathy for her as it’s obvious she helped him escape but I don’t find it one bit funny that a convicted murderer is out loose. I’m not excusing her actions but she very likely has family who’s worried sick; I know I would be. There’s no doubt in my mind that he manipulated her, people like that can be very charming. He’s likely killed her by now and innocent people are at risk.

One might reasonably believe that the jail should have had checks in place before a female corrections officer waltzes out the jail by herself with with a male murderer to take him for an evaluation that didn’t exist. The blame starts with the sheriff and ends with he crooked corrections officer.
