La Ley 27.793 no es una súplica. Es una norma de orden público. Su cumplimiento no depende de la generosidad de un gobernante. Las leyes no se votan para adornar bibliotecas, sino para proteger personas.
Detrás de una prestación interrumpida hay una vida que espera. Detrás de una universidad desfinanciada, un futuro que se oscurece. Y detrás de cada derecho ignorado, una Constitución que pierde su voz.
Borges nos dejó laberintos; Machado, caminos. Pero sería imperdonable que la Argentina se perdiera en el laberinto de sus números y olvidara el camino hacia su gente.
Como abogado, asesor legislativo y persona con discapacidad, rechazo que la necesidad de ordenar las cuentas se convierta en argumento para postergar derechos.
Un presupuesto puede exhibir equilibrio económico y representar, al mismo tiempo, una derrota moral.
Porque hay algo más grave que una Nación empobrecida: una Nación que se acostumbra al sufrimiento ajeno.
Y cuando el Estado cierra sus puertas a quienes más lo necesitan, no está ahorrando dinero: está hipotecando su conciencia.
