He was the head of the Teamster’s Union, a pretty powerful position. He was also very involved with the Mafia which brought about crooked money dealings between the Teamsters Union and the Mob, and was in all likelihood the reason he disappeared.
That would require that his remains would be found or that one or more of his killers confessed to the crime However James Riddle Hoffa was never seen again after going to the Red Fox restaurant for a meeting with two gangsters in July of 1975. He was declared legally dead in 1982, which meant that his family and a judge were convinced that his prolonged disappearance wasn’t a sign that he was still alive. Given that the gangsters who Hoffa was supposed to meet have both been deceased for many years, it’s unlikely that there will ever be a “conclusive” accounting for what happened to him.
I do not think I would use the word “popular” to describe this man. He was many things, originally heading up a labor union. He then got involved in some fairly messy activities, offending people who did not like to be offended, and has been missing ever since. Popular….. not. If you really are curious – there is a lot of information on the internet.
Jimmy Hoffa became well known when US Attorney General Robert Kennedy forced him to testify before Congress about his connection with the Mafia. It was rumored that Hoffa illegally lent money out of the Teamsters Central States Pension fund to the Mafia. The Mafia used the money to create Las Vegas. The Congressional hearing was the main topic of the nightly news and headline on newspapers for weeks. Hoffa’s face and reputation became familiar to every American at the time.
If Mr. Hoffa wasn’t appointed to the position of leader of the teamster’s union, it was probably advised that the rank and file vote for him. For some enigmatic reason, the mafia seems to have a cult-like following. I had a “personal problem” during the 1980’s. I shared my problem with an Italian friend of mine. He offered to contact the mafia for me, and have this “problem” (person) “resolved” (murdered.) In horror, I hastily declined his gracious invitation. I didn’t want this guy found in a ditch, somewhere.
Sheeran (the Irishman story) and he’s buried somewhere very deep and very wet and he will quote, “never be found, trust me”.
This leads us to two conclusions.
One is that he was dumped in a river or equivalent however the aforementioned mobsters have said that it is illogical for the hitmen to drive hours away to dump him so that leaves us to believe that he was dumped in the state where he was killed, Michigan (more specifically, Detroit).
And two being he he was dismembered and flushed down a toilet.
One of these is more valid than the other.
Being told we won’t find him tells us that he isn’t whole therefore the second scenario is more likely. This also makes more sense considering the mobsters have emphasised the point that moving the body is risky and illogical.
The most logical conclusion we can gather from the information we were given was that Jimmy Hoffa was killed in a house in Detroit and cut up, then he was flushed down a toilet or stuffed down a garbage disposal system. A common method of disposal.
I believe that it happened just like it showed in the Irishman. Makes the most sense and even though they didn’t find his blood at that house they did find his DNA in that car he was picked up in. Plus what better than to have a crematory in the business of mobsters.
I think he was cremated. Every mafia guy from that time period claims they know the real story. I think their group is like any other and they gossip. People make up their own details about how it happened. L La cosa telephone game
Michael Franzese told a story about how he knows someone who might’ve been involved, but won’t give up the info publically. I guess there were tape recordings that he sent that matched with the Hoffa timeline perfectly. All he mentioned was that, “you’d have to look somewhere very wet to find him”. I Don’t know how reliable his story is, but he definitely believes it.
There was a shitload, like over 100 yds of concrete poured on a 96 exchange that night and again the next night that was not planned by the project foremen.. The mob was too smart to move him to New Jersey in a van. Thats just too risky
Unlike others, I think it was a bloodier ending. I suspect he was dismembered and scattered either in a landfill, or possibly in the Atlantic ocean. I wouldn’t even doubt if he’d been disappeared down in the Florida everglades. People really don’t give the mob enough credit for just how totally and completely they’ve managed to wipe any trace of him off the earth. That only happens a couple of ways, especially after this long of a time. Buildings where he might’ve been entombed, come down. We’ve seen landfills dug up, based on tipsters. Still, no trace of him. I have family who hold high-ranking positions in NY and FL, who know and have stories of crossing the mafia since the 1960’s. They dismembered/tossed into the ocean/fed people to alligators/more than we realize. It’s gross.
He was put into a van and delivered to a New Jersey construction site where they poured his body into the concrete of a strip mall. This was told by the driver of the van before he died.

CommentHoffa era un hampon de los 40
cuando todo se modernizo, cago fuego
An example of what happens to a band guy
He was the head of the Teamster’s Union, a pretty powerful position. He was also very involved with the Mafia which brought about crooked money dealings between the Teamsters Union and the Mob, and was in all likelihood the reason he disappeared.

He was the leader of the Teamsters labor union. But he also got mixed up with organized crime, possibly to promote compulsory unionization.
I do not think I would use the word “popular” to describe this man. He was many things, originally heading up a labor union. Hoffa came to symbolize the danger of union power.
Kuklinski said he was sent to Japan with scrap metal and made into a new car. In the interview book with Phillip Carlo.
Sheeran (the Irishman story) and he’s buried somewhere very deep and very wet and he will quote, “never be found, trust me”.

The aliens abducted him and took him to another galaxy. He is now worshipped as their God and is immortal on their planet

He probably ended up somewhere in one of the Great Lakes. Dismembered? Probably.
That or he met the unfortunate ending of an acid drum.

The Iceman claimed Hoffa was crushed in a car truck at a wrecking yard and sent over seas to be recycled.
The only people that really know where Jimmy Hoffa is. Is Jimmy himself and the people that put him there.
True
Sure thing
