Un joven biológicamente de sexo masculino se convirtió en el primer concursante transgénero en ganar un certamen de belleza para mujeres en EE.UU., celebrado bajo el auspicio de la organización Miss America, informa la prensa local.
Brian Nguyen, de 19 años, ganó la corona del evento ‘Miss Greater Derry 2023’, celebrado el pasado fin de semana en el estado de New Hampshire. En ese concurso participan “mujeres jóvenes” de entre 17 y 24 años, y la ganadora se hace acreedora de una beca universitaria.
“En los 100 años de historia de Miss America, me he convertido oficialmente en la primera titular transgénero dentro de la organización”, escribió Nguyen en las redes sociales. “Me siento honrada de ser coronada como nueva ‘Miss Greater Derry 2023’, y estoy encantada de mostrarles todo lo que tengo bajo la manga”, afirmó.
El triunfo de Nguyen se produjo poco después de que la Corte de Apelaciones de EE.UU. dictaminara que los concursantes transgénero podrían ser excluidos de los eventos de belleza de la organización Miss America, debido a que esos certámenes son para mujeres biológicas con el fin de “expresar la visión ideal de la mujer estadounidense”, y su elegibilidad está protegida por la Constitución “contra el discurso forzado”.
En las redes sociales, muchos internautas calificaron el evento ‘Miss Greater Derry 2023’ de “ridículo”, y otros consideran que si Nguyen fuera una mujer biológica, “ni siquiera habría superado el proceso de ingreso”. Una usuaria de Twitter denunció que su victoria es un reflejo más de la aversión a las mujeres por parte de la izquierda.

No olvidemos que 20 o mas años atrás en Argentina fueron primeras vedetes de los teatros de la Avenida Corrientes, Cris Miró y luego Florencia de la V, trabajando a sala llena. Ellas habían suplantado a muy hermosas y profesionales mujeres del espectáculo, marcando el final de una época. Atentamente CLAUDIO KUSSMAN

Such people are a tiny fraction of humans. Maybe they never got enough attention, maybe they have a vitamin deficiency or a chemical imbalance. Whatever the issue, it’s not my personal problem.
Nobody is forced to watch this junk. Don’t like it, don’t watch it, don’t buy it. Don’t support it
with your attention or money. That’s a consumer’s only true recourse.
I can’t even BELIEVE this! WHAT?!?! I’m literally speechless that he was even allowed to enter the contest, let alone win! I guarantee none of those girls were happy about it but they have to smile pretty for the camera and look all supportive otherwise they’d get ripped a new one on the internet. I really wish my young daughter didn’t have to grow up with this crap going on everywhere
People are afraid to talk out laud. Those girls get what they deserve, they should have walked when they found out about these new weird rules rather than cheer their “competitor,” on, laugh, smile, clap, cheer and congratulate.
I would have told my daughter , “Let’s go home . This is no longer a contest. It’s a political show.”
They took the scholarship from a woman and gave it to a guy wearing a dress.
