Other Emhoff quotes are the basic: “Our support for Israel is ironclad” and stuff similar… but in this one, a quote one month after Oct. 7th, notice him slyly making the distinctions between the Jewish in general and the Israeli government. That small thing is apparently rare for politicians in general, and I think Kamala will pull heavily from his opinions on this. Reminds me of a less direct Bernie Sanders… or a centrist version of Sanders… so to the left of Biden and to the right of Sanders (who also support Israel but isn’t a fan of Netanyahu).
