La República de Sudán aprobó una ley que permite a los cristianos beber alcohol después de más de 30 años, dijo este sábado el ministro de Justicia, Nasur Aldin Abdul Bari, quien además confirmó que las nuevas leyes han prohibido la práctica de la mutilación genital femenina.
El país africano también ha aprobado ampliar enmiendas en sus leyes penales que incluyen la derogación de la pena de muerte por apostasía, la renuncia que hace una persona de sus creencias religiosas o políticas. Según la Ley Penal de 1991 presentada por el derrocado Gobierno de Omar al-Bashir, el castigo por la apostasía era la lapidación hasta la muerte.
En una entrevista televisada el sábado, el ministro de Justicia sudanés declaró que las nuevas leyes también han permitido el consumo de alcohol para los cristianos sudaneses y han prohibido el azote como castigo. “Cancelamos el artículo 126 de la Ley penal sudanesa y garantizamos la libertad religiosa y la igualdad en la ciudadanía y el Estado de derecho. Todos estos cambios apuntan a lograr la igualdad frente a las leyes. Hemos descartado todos los artículos que han llevado a cualquier tipo de discriminación. Aseguramos a nuestra gente que la reforma legal continuará hasta que eliminemos todas las leyes que violan los derechos humanos en Sudán”, enfatizó.
La sentencia de muerte se ha reservado solo en los casos de asesinato y otros crímenes atroces. El ministro señaló además que el Gobierno está trabajando actualmente para reformar otras disposiciones legales para incorporarlas en una declaración constitucional. Agregó que su Ministerio está trabajando para crear una nueva ley personal que elimine todas las disposiciones discriminatorias contra las mujeres y los niños, y que la próxima semana se establecerá una comisión para estudiar leyes y recomendar sus reformas.

It was narrated that ‘Aishah the wife of the Prophet (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: “When the two circumcised parts meet, then bath is obligatory. The Messenger of Allah and I did that, and we bathed.” Sunan Ibn Majah 609
Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah: A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to her: “Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband.” Sunan Abi Dawud 5271
The problem is not with the practice, but with the one who does it. There are many Muslims in different countries who do it correctly. Like in Indonesia they are also doing this practice according to the teaching of Islam, not like some idiots who are doing it totally wrong.
There is something wrong with people who make their decisions for women because they are too embarrassed of their family members! Too hesitant probably to love* them also! It takes love to get to someone you love and help them make good decisions, it takes care too. If you are trying to control them, you don’t care about talking to them, you just make revisions for them!
