Tom Brady, uno de los mejores ‘quarterbacks’ de todos los tiempos, anuncia su retiro tras 22 campañas en el football americano



Tras 22 exitosas temporadas en la NFL, Tom Brady, de 44 años, anunció ayer sábado su retiro del fútbol americano profesional, poniendo fin a una carrera legendaria como ‘quarterback’, en la que consiguió seis campeonatos con los Patriotas de Nueva Inglaterra y uno con los Bucaneros de Tampa Bay, además de establecer gran cantidad de récords que parecen imposibles de superar, por lo que es considerado como uno de los mejores jugadores de todos los tiempos.





Además de ser el jugador con más anillos de Super Bowl (7), el egresado de Míchigan también posee la marca de mayor número de pases completos en una temporada (485), yardas aéreas (85.520) y ‘touchdowns’ (624), así como el de victorias (278). Estos son solo algunos de los logros conseguidos por Brady, quien, sin duda alguna, formará parte del salón de la fama.

    As a Colts fan, despite him tormenting our team for years on end, it is still sad for me to see him go. He’s been in the league quite literally my whole life. It’ll be weird to see the nfl without him.

    Hail, Tom! The GOAT. The NFL won’t ever be the same again. It’s honestly historic witnessing this. Although I wanted him to lose, he was the main reason I started to watch the sport of football. Thank you, Brady, for the memories! (Even if they stung as a Jets fan)
