EL PRINCIPIO TOMISTA COMO PUNTO DE EQUILIBRIO.
Tomás de Aquino enseña que la realidad se explica mediante las cuatro causas (material, formal, eficiente y final) y que ninguna de ellas puede reducirse a otra sin perder la plenitud del ser. La causa material (lo que algo está hecho) no anula la formal (su esencia), ni la eficiente (quién lo produce), ni la final (su fin). Cuando una visión del mundo privilegia una sola causa y la hace “la primera y la principal”, se produce una reducción ideológica que el tomismo rechaza.
KIRCHNERISMO: LA CAUSA MATERIAL COMO EJE
El kirchnerismo adopta la lógica del materialismo histórico‑dialéctico: coloca la causa material (la economía, la lucha de clases) como el factor determinante de la vida social y política. A partir de esa premisa se interpreta toda la historia, la cultura y la institucionalidad como meras expresiones de la infraestructura económica. En términos tomistas, se está reduciendo la realidad a una sola causa, ignorando la forma, la eficiencia y el fin propios de los actos humanos.
MILEÍSMO: LA CAUSA FINAL COMO ABSOLUTO
Javier Milei, por su parte, erige la causa final de la libertad individual y la propiedad privada como el principio supremo que debe regir toda la vida pública. Desde esa óptica, cualquier intervención estatal se juzga como una violación del fin último del ser humano. De nuevo, el tomismo señalaría que se está elevando una sola causa (el fin) por encima de las demás, olvidando que la libertad se ejerce dentro de una estructura material, formal y eficiente que también condiciona la acción humana.
LA RAÍZ COMÚN

En ambos casos se reproduce la misma lógica que el materialismo histórico‑dialéctico: tomar una parte y hacerla totalidad.
