The sad and the worst part in this story is not the war but the Argentinian government, my uncle’s friend was recruited at an age of 19 and had only two weeks of military training, he told me and my friend that one time a friend of his was loading a mortar shell and because it was damaged (apparently the past government didn’t care at all about their troops) it exploded and shredded his friends arm, the government just sent their troops with nothing but still tried to win a war against a country far more mor more advanced than them, the Argentina government easily killed more of their own people than the English guns did.
I’ve heard many stories, very tragic. Those young Argentine soldiers must have been brave men to go to war with no proper training and no proper equipment.
The Arigies forgot one of the 4 Rules of War. 1. You can never hold Afghanistan. 2. Never get into a land war in Asia. 3. Never invade Russia in the winter. 4. Never get into Naval Warfare with the British.
Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters said that “Malvinas Islands belong to Argentina” to the Chilean press. Waters said the 1982 war, when the Argentine military junta tried to recover the control of the islands, saved Margaret Tatcher’s political carreer but killed many Argentine and British citizens.

Hoy la Patria,
se hace a la mar.
Manda la historia,
a Malvinas rescatar.
La húmeda turba,
espera en la noche.
Que el oleaje aturda,
el incruento choque.
Bravura criolla,
en gaucha entrega.
El desembarco calla,
afilando la espera.
A la hora señalada,
Busser arenga.
La tropa enardecida,
su vida encomienda.
Listos los bravos
el honor los espera.
Dignos soldados,
de la Patria y su Bandera.
El objetivo a la vista,
las irredentas Malvinas.
Preparar la conquista,
será de sangre argentina.
¡Viva la Patria!
y los valientes integrantes de la FT 40

CommentThe lesson to be learnt: Don’t mess with Britains rock collection
History does not lie.
Ahora son héroes, pero los trajeron a escondidas de noche. Lindos jefes tuvieron . Eso marcó el final del gobierno militar.
Mucha hipocresía y mu ha mentira.
Ya fueron entregadas.
Underestimating Britain, never ends well

Argentina: This is mine now.
Great Britain: You can’t steal from the masters of stealing.
f you hear these you’ve already lost:

Cars speaking Irish
Atlantic Ocean speaking Harrier

Yeah, Thatcher was the one who got the biggest benefits.
