ANTES DE ESTAS COPLITAS, ENTIENDO QUE DEBO EXPLICAR EN FORMA MUY SUCINTA QUE ES LA COPLA.
Es el cantar en los cerros y valles de las provincias del noroeste argentino, utilizada tanto en festividades religiosas, como paganas o familiares alcanzando su máxima expresión durante el carnaval.
Su origen podemos buscarlos, hace más de 400 años, en la amalgama del canto indígena con la poesía española, sus autores son normalmente anónimos y van pasando de generación en generación, quedando de esta manera en el acervo cultural de los pueblos.
La copla nace del poeta innato tanto coya como vallisto, de su agudísima observación del mundo que lo rodea, es por eso que cada copla pinta un cuadro familiar, amoroso, un paisaje, un animal etc. es decir que su limitación está dada fundamentalmente por el ingenio.
Su melodía es tristona, tomando diversos matices, aunque similares, de acuerdo al lugar y en la época en que se canta, las más diferenciadas son las coplas de la zona de los valles que se caracterizan por sus terminaciones alargadas, las otras son las quebradeñas de tono más uniforme, y es la utilizada en las ruedas.
Se canta en forma aislada como también en rueda, en donde hombres y mujeres van girando lentamente abrazados o no, al compás de las cajas chirleras.
Existen tres formas de cantar las coplas en rueda, la de contrapunto, entre el hombre y la mujer, y donde todos participan, por ejemplo si una mujer le canta a un hombre, cualquier hombre de la rueda pueda contestar y viceversa, la topada donde solo participa una mujer y un hombre y es resto de la rueda se limita a repetir, y las que se hacen en las señaladas (cuando se marca el ganado), se caracteriza por que se rinde honor a la Pachamama (La tierra), agradeciendo lo que nos da, y se le rinde honor en la Apacheta, montículo de piedras, ubicada dentro de la rueda, donde se reza y se le da comer, las coplas que ahí se cantan son exclusivamente de alabanza a DIOS y a la Pachamama, quedando prohibido todo tipo de contrapunto.
