La historia de los Molly Maguire

Share

My last pay test was $9,500 operating 12 hours per week online. My buddy has been averaging 15,000 for months now and she works approximately 20 hours every week. I can not accept as true with how easy it become as soon as i tried it out.

I can understand why the “Molly Macguires” dressed as females as cover for their movements when avenging crimes against the Irish. Celtic men are often of wiry, frail, or of delicate physique. Certainly the beardless among them would have little difficulty passing as old women from a short distance.

Truly a mockery of justice, to allow a corporation to arrest and try these men. Especially a corporation that stands to profit from the destruction of these men. It defies belief.

I was born in Pottsville. What gets glazed over is that it was one of the most successful routes on the Underground Railroad to Buffalo right before this started with a Safe House a block away from the Yuengling Brewery. The majority of the miners were paid in Company Vouchers to be used in Company Stores while living in Company Housing. Sound like indentured servitude? It was, to Robber Barons and that is how America was back then for a lot of people. Cassius Clay had his Gym just South of Pottsville in Deer Lake and I am saddened by our current climate of division over paltry buzzwords. Americans struggled and fought GLORIOUSLY to become the nation we are today. For all of the horrible things that made this place before we got here by birth with our inalienable rights, let us reflect to make it not too much worse. We can count coup so much faster now. We have air travel, motorcars and internet. We can be better. We should be better, while also being flawed.

I was born in Pottsville as well. I lived in Schuylkill county my entire life. I learned about the Molly Maguires in School. I also remember hearing about how Ali had a training camp in Deer Lake. It’s sad to see how this county has become the poorest county in PA. We once had an NFL team called the Pottsville Maroons back in the 1920’s.

Yes, they were the Pottsville Eleven first. In 1929 they relocated to Boston, where they played one season as the Boston Bulldogs.

The story I was told was they were fighting back against the coal company because of working conditions. The owners then painted a picture of them being Irish mobsters and the rest is a story told by the wealthy owners. The Irish were treated as indentured slaves.
The conservative nationalist at the time hated the Irish calling them illegals etc.

My in-law ancestors were Pennsylvania, Irish coal miners. They originally came in 1802 to dig by hand the original Erie Canal. When the canal years were over, they went back into the deep coal seams. They were Molly’s to the core, hard core scofflaws. I met my old Irish relatives twice around the age of 10. they were so happy to
meet a young person who wanted all the history, they told me stories of the bombings and fires, how my peoples houses being burned down with family members inside it. They were hard people were damn tired of being constantly crushed by the
elite.they were tired of being owned by company store.saw the family photos of the area. They fought in response to the treatment they received. I got to see the relatives photos who died on both sides of the civil war to hundreds of photos of the carnage after the Johnstown Floods.Heard the stories in 68, when I was 9.i heard it from the children of the children who grew up with the searches , masked intruders and eventually the mass hangings.my ancestors neighbors were the Pennsylvania Duetch. The evidence was hinky and weak, but the hatred of the mine bosses, and having to pay the company for the dynamite, lamp oil, and rent on the company houses, no heat no clean water, no sanitation. You better believe that they fought, but they were considered the lowest form of life that God ever miscreated. That was the prevailing opinion in every corner of Europe then America
